Job Description:

As a Senior MERN Stack Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. Your experience will be crucial in mentoring junior developers and driving technical excellence across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and development of scalable web applications using the MERN stack.
2. Architect, develop, and maintain APIs, database schemas, and front-end components.
3. Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
4. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
5. Implement security and data protection best practices.
6. Conduct code reviews, identify areas of improvement, and mentor junior developers.
7. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
8. Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance. Work closely with DevOps teams to manage deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
9. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and team dynamics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. 8+ years of professional experience in software development.
2. Extensive experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
3. Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
4. In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON web services.
5. Experience with front-end state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
6. Proficiency in database design and management, particularly with MongoDB.
7. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
8. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
10. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
11. Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.
2. Knowledge of TypeScript and GraphQL.
3. Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including Docker and Kubernetes.
4. Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) and a commitment to writing quality code.
